Habitat for Humanity (Charles Street, Back Central) plantings - Over 50 trees were planted during 2003 by Habitat volunteers. Funding for tree planting was provided to the Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust through the City of Lowell's Community Development Block Grant Program. Design services were provided by Trade Secret Gardens, Gillian Teixeira and Alison Saylor, Carlisle. Additional extraordinary volunteer services were provided by George Bishop of Carlisle.

"The trees provided by the Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust are such a welcome addition to the Lowell Habitat for Humanity building site. The shade, screening and beauty provided by these trees are a great asset to the local community. It was a pleasure working with your professional staff to choose the appropriate trees for this project."
